Stare Bielany station — what to know

Stare Bielany station — Warsaw Metro

Stare Bielany sits in the pre-war heart of the district and opened on 25 October 2008. The name is deliberate: the metro reaches the oldest, low-rise part of Bielany here, as opposed to the large estates that grew up further north. The platform is shallow, about 7.3 metres beneath the street. The station plays a local role, feeding residents onto the first line and cutting a journey that used to take considerably longer by tram along Marymoncka down to a quarter of an hour.

We do not list the number or location of individual exits: Metro Warszawskie does not publish them in a consistent form, and guessing would be unfair to anyone planning a journey in advance.
