Służew opened on 7 April 1995 and serves one of the densest office clusters in Warsaw — Służewiec Przemysłowy, known locally as Mordor. The station covers about 11,000 square metres. Its traffic is starkly asymmetric: crowds get off in the morning, get on in the afternoon, and the station is close to empty at weekends. There is no tram here, so the last stretch to the office towers is by bus or on foot.
