Centrum station — what to know

Centrum station — Warsaw Metro

Centrum is the busiest station on the Warsaw Metro and the largest on line M1: it covers more than 25,000 square metres and the platform lies about 15 metres beneath Jerozolimskie avenue. It opened on 26 May 1998, when the line finally reached the heart of the city. A sprawling network of underground passages links the platform to the Rotunda, Złote Tarasy and Warszawa Śródmieście station, a little over 250 metres away. Most of the city's daytime and night routes converge overhead.

Yes. Every station on the Warsaw Metro has lifts between street level and the platform, and the platforms have tactile markings. We do not list the number or location of individual exits: Metro Warszawskie does not publish them in a consistent form, and guessing would be unfair to anyone planning a journey in advance.
