Młociny – Kabaty · 21 stations.
The line at a glance
Line M1 serves 21 stations between Młociny and Kabaty. Line M1 (blue) was the first metro line in Poland. Construction began in 1983 and it opened in stages: the Kabaty–Politechnika section in 1995, Centrum in 1998, Świętokrzyska and Ratusz Arsenał in 2001, Dworzec Gdański in 2003, and the northern extension to Bielany and on to Młociny between 2005 and 2008. The line crosses Warsaw from south to north — from Ursynów and Kabaty, through the city centre, to Żoliborz and Bielany.
Two originally planned stations were never built — Plac Konstytucji and Muranów. Świętokrzyska is the only interchange station between lines M1 and M2, making it the most important hub in the Warsaw Metro.
