Rondo ONZ opened on 8 March 2015 with the first stretch of line M2. The platform lies about 14 metres down and the station covers close to 16,100 square metres. It sits in the middle of Warsaw's business district: the exits come up beneath the office towers on Świętokrzyska and Chłodna. Formally the station straddles the boundary between Wola and Śródmieście. Most night bus routes heading west also pass through the roundabout.
